We are seeking a game developer to join our passionate team. As a member of the Game Development division, you will be responsible for developing game systems and other core game functionality based on concepts from the Game Design division, while following industry-standard practices for software design and engineering.
This position is not for someone who needs immediate payment. This position is contractor-based. At Daydream Studio, this means a position that does not provide payment upfront, but rather guarantees a portion of both project and company revenue that will be divided up amongst all contractors based on their performance.
For example, a project may have 35% of its revenue dedicated to paying out contractors. Each portion of work that is given out will have a certain amount of points attached to it depending on complexity. At the conclusion of a project, the final point tally is calculated, and then you will get a cut of that 35%, proportional to the amount of points you earn. If you earn 10% of the points available, for instance, you will get 10% of that 35% portion, or 3.5% of revenue.
Company-wide revenues are only shared to contractors who are active and meet a minimum global point threshold. The company revenue sharing pool draws from a set percentage of total company revenue. Shares are calculated based on total points earned across all projects, divided by the collective points of all contractors across the entire company across projects and multiplied by the company-wide contractor profit percentage.
We are seeking a frontend developer to join our passionate team. As a member of the Software Services division, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the "frontend" side of an innovative instant messaging application, likely utilizing SvelteKit or other similar frontend frameworks.

We are seeking a Director of Art and Media to join our passionate team. In this position, you will be leading the Department of Art and Media, who is responsible for creating striking visuals for our games and other projects. You and your team will be working with the Director of Game Development to supply their team with the characters, backgrounds, objects, and visual effects that they need. You will also be working closely with the Director of Game Design and the Interdepartmental Coordinator to ensure that styling and standards are kept consistent between all departments of the studio. You will also be expected to be skilled in digital art and help provide art assets yourself.

This position is not for someone who needs immediate payment. Instead, this position offers a percentage of ownership in Daydream Studio in exchange for your work. This means that as the company grows and succeeds, so will your share of the overall profit. The exact percentage that you will obtain will be negotiated upon acceptance of the position.
